The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is a nonprofit printmaking facility housed within the historic 19th century stone carriage house of the Mathews Park cultural complex in Norwalk, Connecticut. The space is an architectural gem that has been transformed into a dynamic printmaking facility and gallery space. It is fully equipped to accommodate all printmaking techniques: intaglio, lithography, monotype, silkscreen, woodblock printing, papermaking, book arts and digital processes. 

CEC ArtsLink supports transnational cultural mobility and collaboration, empowering artists and arts leaders to engage communities in dialogue and creative projects for a more equitable, compassionate and sustainable world. We resolutely embrace inclusivity, independent expression, human rights, and the development of civil societies.

CEC ArtsLink supports dialogue between artists and communities through individual encounters, public events, transnational networks, and virtual platforms. Founded in 1962, CEC ArtsLink believed that it was essential for citizens of the United States and the Soviet Union to meet and build mutual trust, while their governments engaged in the Cold War. Today, artists and arts leaders play a vital role in nurturing civil societies. Through the simple act of bringing people together in a shared experience, through exploration of the unfamiliar, art can dissolve borders and help communities overcome distrust and insularity. As nations increasingly retreat behind their borders, it becomes imperative for the work of artists and arts leaders to catalyze communities in mitigating conflict and prejudice locally, nationally, and globally.

Vision: To share the beauty of Tusen Takk with artists in the form of a time and a place to create, and to connect them with audiences worldwide, sharing their efforts to make the intangible tangible.           

Mission: Named for an expression of thankfulness, the Tusen Takk Foundation nourishes artists by giving them a place to work, engagement opportunities to enrich the culture of Northwest Michigan, and a platform to share their work.

Trillium Arts envisions an artist residency center where artists of many disciplines can find a creative home away from home, offering secluded space for rejuvenation in a beautiful, remote setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our current facilities are best suited to the disciplines of literary arts, photography, visual arts and arts administration.

Dr. Bullough established his eponymous foundation with the lofty goal of "saving civilization through the power of the arts." We support emerging artists and the arts through interdisciplinary residencies, hosting events and workshops, and sharing the rare book and art collections of the late Dr. Peter Bullough.

The Merwin Conservancy is a small and thriving arts and ecology organization on the island of Maui. It conserves both an extraordinary place—a lush and rare, 19-acre palm forest that two-time Pulitzer prize winning poet W.S. Merwin planted and tended on land designated as agricultural wasteland  — and it conserves the sense of wonder that brought forth both Merwin’s poetry, and his garden.

Surf Point provides time, space, and support for members of the visual arts community to think, connect and create. In keeping with the vision of our founders, arts patron Mary-Leigh Smart and artist Beverly Hallam, Surf Point offers nominated artists and art professionals three-week live-work residencies in a boldly Modernist home on the coast of York, Maine.

The Pocantico Center: A Singular Place to Gather, Discover, and Grow.

Once home to the Rockefeller family, The Pocantico Center’s verdant campus in the scenic hills of the Hudson Valley has been host to some of the most influential leaders, thinkers, and creative minds of the last century. Today, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund continues to bring together people at Pocantico through a robust slate of conferences, artist residencies, tours, performances, exhibitions, and educational programs.

Originally a seasonal destination for artists and educators, PenArt has evolved into a national arts hub; working with a growing audience through innovative workshops led by visiting faculty, supporting artists of all career stages through the Artists-in-Residence Program, sharing the work of emerging and established artists through curated exhibitions in the Guenzel Gallery, and engaging the local community through meaningful public programs year-round.

Open AIR is a place-based Artist-in-Residence program that connects artists from all disciplines and origins, with culturally, historically, and ecologically significant locations through collaborative partnerships in Montana.

With innovative opportunities available in places such as remote wilderness areas to historically significant sites closer to town, artists have the opportunity to draw inspiration from a regional community dedicated to preserving place, environment, and the arts.
