Sunlit Residency honors the legacy of anthropologist Dr. Sue-Je Lee Gage, pioneering scholar of Amerasians in South Korea, change maker, beloved teacher and mentor whose talents and interests spanned the fine arts, the humanities, and the social sciences.

The purpose of The Whirlybird Compound Artist in Residency of Acadiana, run by Christy Leichty and Jim Phillips, is to enhance the creative process of artists through cultural immersion.

One of the few things that was clear at the start of this pandemic was the fact that the format of the residencies as such, and the way we support artistic practices, needed to adapt and evolve.

The Trinacria Festival Residency is a 3-week, community-centered program designed for professional artists whose work directly engages the Pezzolo community. The dates of the program are July 24 - August 13, 2026.

Cultivarte is an ecological artist residency located in the warm and peaceful mountains of Anapoima, Colombia. Our program offers artists, writers, and creatives a quiet and inspiring environment to deepen their practice, rest, reconnect, and develop new ideas.

The Truro Clay Works Artist Residency invites three ceramicists to join our creative community for a one-year term starting October 5 of 2026. Residents live in a large fully furnished communal home with private bedrooms, two full shared bathrooms, living room, laundry room, pantry and kitchen.

Vashon Artist Residency provides a diverse group of artists the time and space to create, the opportunity to engage with other residents and the experience of living and working amidst the ecology and community of Vashon Island located on the beautiful Salish Sea in Washington State.

VCCA’s artist residency program at Mt. San Angelo in Amherst, Virginia, hosts up to 360 writers, visual artists, and composers each year in residencies of varying lengths with flexible scheduling (up to six weeks with no minimum length of stay).

There are four virtual residency programs: Ocean, Our Earth and Sustainability.

They focus on topics such as ocean conservation, sustainability and rooted communities, memory, territory, the earth, and climate.

Our Visual Arts Residency supports artists in experimenting with their craft and developing their focus or testing new ideas, while also engaging in vital public dialogue.

The Volland Residency program provides time and space for creative practitioners of a wide range of disciplines to gather in a community setting for work, thought and exchange of ideas. Volland offers three rarities in today’s world: quiet, darkness, solitude.

The Water & Rock artist residency invites creatives and writers in the traditional and picturesque village of Kazaviti on the island of Thassos. The village is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by forest and natural springs, bursting with history.
