The Art Colony has two application periods for group residencies. This application is for artists who are looking to schedule a residency from January - June, 2023. Group residencies are fee-based and intended for groups of up to 8 artists.

The Art Colony has applications open for 2 juried artists-in-residence, one who will work in our Eco-friendly Printmaking studio, and one in our multi-disciplinary Pill Box studio. Both studios are located in our Studio 21 building.

Artists of all disciplines are invited to apply for an art residency at Green Olive Arts, an international art studio in beautiful Tetouan, Morocco.

The Greenhouse Residency offers up to ten aspiring playwrights or theater writers, who have not had access to the professional theatre community through traditional means, a fully-subsidized weeklong residency at SPACE on Ryder Farm.

ABOUT THE SOCIAL PRACTICE INSTITUTE (SPI) + RESIDENCY

eThe Grünewald Guild is an arts education non-profit retreat center nestled exploring the intersections of art + faith + community.

The Hambidge Creative Residency Program nurtures exceptional creative talents within the arts and sciences at their 600-acre creative sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing the space and time needed for visionary works to be conceived and developed.

Headlands’ Artist in Residence (AIR) program awards fully sponsored residencies to approximately 50 local, national, and international artists each year. Residencies of four to six weeks include studio space, chef-prepared meals, comfortable housing, and travel and living expense reimbursements.

Our Writers in Residence Program supports fully-funded residencies for selected women-identified writers at the retreat each year. Up to 6 writers can be in residence at a time, each housed in a handcrafted cottage.

The Foundation offers three months of rent-free and utility-paid housing to people who specialize in the creative arts. Our eleven artist casitas, or guest houses, are fully furnished and provide residents with a peaceful setting in which to pursue their creative endeavors.

The multidisciplinary General Residency Program is our foundational residency structure. I-Park supports artists and designers working in the following creative disciplines: Music Composition, Creative Writing, Moving Image, Architecture, Landscape/Garden Design and Visual Arts.

Trillium Arts envisions an artist residency center where artists of many disciplines can find a creative home away from home, offering secluded space for rejuvenation in a beautiful, remote setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Three Individual Artist Residencies are offered in 2023 for individual artists and/or small collaborative teams of all disciplines (literary, performing and visual arts) who wish to create work in the natural environment and in community with other artists.

SPACE’s Institutional Residencies offer 501c(3) organizations and incorporated ensembles time and space for artistic commissions, DEIJ goals, strategic planning and retreat opportunities.

The Interdisciplinary Residency program is our flagship residency program – started in 2021, we plan to award about 32 Interdisciplinary Residencies annually.

Established in 2019 in the Hudson Valley in Livingston, NY, Interlude Artist Residency is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a flourishing practice for visual artists who are actively parenting.

The Watermill Center's longest-standing program, The International Summer Program unites a community of international artists for a creative intensive at our East End Campus each summer.
