Tsung-Yeh Arts and Cultural Center is located in the Madou district, on the northern outskirts of Tainan City. Madou is a tranquil and leisurely small town with a laid-back lifestyle, located approximately 50 minutes drive from downtown Tainan.

The Violet Institute invites applications from from emerging, mid-career and established critics residing in the United States for our inaugural criticism residency. We especially welcome critics with an interest in public scholarship and trans media.
