The Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is an international craft school located on the Atlantic Ocean in Deer Isle, Maine. Founded in 1950 as a research and studio program in the arts, Haystack offers one and two-week studio workshops in ceramics, blacksmithing, fiber, graphics, metals, and wood to participants of all skill levels as well as the two-week, Open Studio Residency program, exhibitions, tours, auctions, artist presentations, and shorter workshops for Maine residents and highschoolers

In 1997 American arts patron, Nancy Brown Negley, purchased the home of Dora Maar, surrealist photographer and a companion of Picasso. After a 5 year effort, the Dora Maar House opened its doors in 2007 to the first artists, writers and humanities professionals. Originally known as the Nancy B Negley Artists Residency Program, the program changed names to the Dora Maar Cultural Center in 2024. Since our opening, we have welcomed more than 300 artists and writers.

Crosstown Arts is a multidisciplinary contemporary arts center whose mission is to further cultivate the creative community in Memphis by providing resources and opportunities to inspire and support diverse and far-reaching audiences. Founded in 2010, CA led the redevelopment of Crosstown Concourse (a former Sears building) and moved into the building in 2017. CA now programs and operates gallery space, a music venue, a 419-seat black-box theater, a residency program, a maker space, and a bar.
