Residency Programs Profiles

Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts seeks applications for its first ever call for thematic residencies.

The Camargo Fellowship is the flagship program of the Camargo Foundation. Since 1971, the Camargo Foundation has awarded residencies to nearly 1500 individuals as part of its mission to support advanced research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches in the Arts and Humanities.

The Carolȳnne Whitefeather Regional Grant is a month-long residency for artists residing in Greene, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange counties.

CASA PIP is a selective residency open to people who work within all fields of filmmaking. Our residents are selected by a jury of film professionals, and selected residents are given a free stay for up to one month in a house in the mountains of central Portugal.

The association promotes 6 months of artist residencies each year (April–June and September–November), with the goal of hosting 2 artists per month.

Artists will stay on the main floor of an 18th-century frescoed palazzo, with access to:

- a private bedroom and bathroom

Center for the Arts Evergreen’s (CAE’s) Artist-in-Residence Program offers the opportunity for emerging and established artists to foster creativity and community engagement while developing both new works and works-in-progress.

Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill offers 3 month Ceramic Artist in Residence Programs during the winter, which are designed to provide time and facilities to artists looking for a concentrated creative experience.

The Eureka Springs School of the arts is looking for practicing ceramics artists who are seeking focused time to refine their skills, create work and/or explore new avenues within their medium.

Offers writers and artists, a comfortable and supportive environment immersed in nature with the opportunity to focus on experimentation or the development or completion of a project.

Chalk Hill Artist Residency is a unique opportunity for artists across mediums to work and stay at the beautiful Warnecke Ranch and Vineyard. The program is located in Sonoma County, an hour and a half north of San Francisco.

Chateau d'Orquevaux is an Award Winning International Artists & Writers Residency running year in France.

Chunk Of The Moon is an Indigenous & Queer-led residency based in Central Vermont. The home and studio are Tucked away in two acres of forested land beside a babbling brook.

Nekubi Art Residency is a booming artist led community located at the beautiful coastal and historic town of Kavala, in Northern Greece. International Artists are invited to participate through our annual open calls and become part of the experience.  

Civitella Ranieri Foundation is an international residency program bringing together visual artists, writers, and composers to work independently and communally without judgment or interruption.  Every year from May to November, CRF opens the doors of its 15th-century castle in Italy to 12-1

The Core Residency Program awards residencies to exceptional, highly motivated emerging artists and critical writers committed to developing a sustainable practice. The residency term is 23 months, during which fellows receive $100,000 ($50,000 per year) plus a health stipend.

Cow House Studios artist residencies have provided studio space for professional visual artists working in any discipline. These residencies offer a valuable platform for emerging, mid-career, and established artists.

The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts offers residencies for a period of three weeks for ceramists, mixed media artists, painters, printmakers, and sculptors from April through October.

It is incredibly hard to find room to pursue joy in this harsh capitalist hell scape of the modern world.
