Residency Programs Profiles

Designed for artists of all career stages, the Artists-in-Residence Program is an immersive studio experience awarded to six individuals each year. The program prioritizes time and space for residents to engage fully in their creative practice, experiment, and pursue new projects and ideas.

AIRIE’s residency program provides artists the opportunity to live and work inside Everglades National Park, the largest tropical wilderness in the United States.

Specifically, the Artists-in-Residence program draws a diverse group of emerging artists who have earned at minimum a BFA.  Artists-in-Residence are responsible for teaching classes in varied disciplines to our diverse student community.

Our Artist-in-Residence Program offers professional artists the opportunity to develop their practice within an inclusive studio environment while collaborating alongside adults with disabilities. Artists of Opportunity is the art programming of Opportunity Resources Inc.
